NEW BMW 3 SERIES (F30) VS OLD BMW 3 SERIES (E90)       my impressions

1. Looking at the outside...

                               ... I still prefer the E90 looks
... because it is looks sharper, more dynamic and distinctive ...

2.  Driving ...
                               ... I still prefer the E90 feel
... because its steering feel is heavier and meatier, its suspension is firmer, its cornering is sharper and there is a more intimate connection between car and driver ...

3. Some improvements in the new F30 model ...

... it's more comfortable, its stronger engine delivers its power more smoothly, its dashboard is more attractive ...

4.  Some surprising dislikes in the new F30 model ...
... weak air-con, bland looks, less substantial feel to its build quality especially on slamming door, over-light steering, woolly body lean on cornering, not that quiet, needs strong revs to move, no perceptible improvement in interior space, rear seat back kind of thin, flat, hard and lacking comfort, still no spare tyre, same old dreadful run-flat tyres, lack of freshness in design and overall concept ...

5. E46 still the best 3-series ever ...
